Carter turned five yesterday. As soon as he woke up, he announced : "the birthday boy's awake!"
He was just a little excited.....
We went to Camdon's basketball game in the morning and then Justin ordered pizza while I made a sweet treasure chest cake and got ready for the party. He had a few friends over to the play the Wii and open presents.
He was beaming all day. My friends from the restaurant sent him a card and in it was a gift card to McDonalds. What's better than that if you're five??!! Not much.

Happy birthday Carter! Ya know what's funny is I was talking with Travis about all the kids birthdays and I thought, let's send Carter some McDonalds bucks for his birthday and Travis said something like, that was YEARS ago when they did that. Why didn't I think that now they do gift cards =) haha, funny, but then we all got sick and didn't get anything in the mail, sorry, but we still love ya Carter and were thinking about you on Saturday!
